Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. Half English mixed with Spanish She is the child of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker, and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. Her father was an Argentine and has Scottish as well as English heritage. She is Spanish and has English roots. Taylor Joy also has 4 siblings, one at each one of their parents' previous marriages. Family resided in Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy was 6 years old, after which they moved to the Victoria district in London. Taylor Joy stated that moving from Buenos Aires to Victoria was difficult and she did not study English, hoping to go home to Argentina. Hill House, a school located in the same area as Northlands was obligated to accept her. Later, she enrolled in Queen's Gate School to study ballet and act in productions of the school. After 16 she quit the school to take on acting as a profession. Since her early years, Taylor-Joy was aware of her desire to become an actress and her goals were realized when she was offered the opportunity to model Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
