Lucy Liu is an American actress voice actress director producer, and singer. Beautiful, intelligent and gifted actress, she's a great model for Asian actors who want to become big names in Hollywood. After several appearances in popular TV series and movies, she gained fame after being cast on the Ally McBeal legal comedy where she played Ling Woo. Following her success, she landed significant roles on the shows Shanghai Noon (1998) and Charlie's Angels (2000). The actress then gave an amazing performance in the role of Japanese criminal lord O'RenIshii, in Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill Volume 1. At the same time, she also played the lead role in a few films that failed at the box office, such as Rise: Blood Hunter. For animated films such as Kung Fu Panda, Tinker Bell and others she voiced characters with prominent voices. The small screen role of Mia Mason in Cashmere Mafia did not yield positive results. Southland was a highly acclaimed police show in which Liu appeared in on a regular basis played a part that has helped her regain her status as a renowned as an actress.
