Anna Paquin (born Winnipeg, was raised in Wellington) is an Canadian actor from Canada. Paquin is a native of Canada and actress from New Zealand. She was born in Winnipeg but raised in Wellington the city where she was born, she had her first appearance as an actor on screen in The Piano. In this romance film, at the age of 11 years old, Paquin won her second Oscar for Best Actress. Anna Paquin's full title is Anna Helene Paquin. Born on July 24, 1982, in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada, she was an Canadian native New Zealand actress. As as a young girl, she was awarded her the Academy Award for best support actress. She also played the role of a teen girl named Polexia Aphrodisa in Almost Famous (2000).
