Paula Patton was born in Los Angeles, California to a middle class family. The actress grew up having big hopes. Her most memorable roles include the spy action film Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol, and the dramatic Precious. Her early years were located living in Los Angeles where she came from a middle-class family. Instilling a passion for film in her daughter was something that she learned from her mother who also loved watching movies. Paula was active in her school's co-curricular activities and was particularly drawn to dramatics. She loved to play act with her friends and participated in school's stage shows. After starring in numerous high school productions at Hamilton Magnet Arts High School and deciding to make acting her occupation. She enrolled at the University of Southern California in an intensive summer course and was awed by her experience. The program was an award for a PBS 3-month assignment to make documentary films. She started as production assistant for television documentaries, after completing her task. Later, she was able to produce documentaries. Though she loved her job but she always dreamed of becoming an actress. in the film romantic comedy Hitch she starred in a minor role alongside Will Smith. Since then, she's appeared in a variety of film and TV programs.
