Amal Clooney

Amal Alamuddin is a native of Beirut. Her name was changed to the Arabic name'ml amal, which translates to "hope". Her family fled Lebanon at the age of two at in the middle of civil conflict in Lebanon, to settle in Gerrards Cross Buckinghamshire. Ramzi Alamuddin is a Lebanese Druze who hails from Baakline, a village in the Chouf District of the Alam al-Din Dynasty. He earned an MBA at the American University of Beirut. He returned to Lebanon in the year 1991, following the end of the civil war. Her mother, Baria (nee Miknass), was born to a family of Sunni Muslims in Tripoli in Northern Lebanon,[14][11] and a Palestinian-Jordanian[15] mother. She was a foreign reporter and editor for the Saudi-run al-Hayat newspaper. She was also the creator of International Communication Experts. The company, a part of a larger business, specializes in booking famous guests photographer, publicity, promotional events, etc. Amal was born in the Philippines. There are two brothers and a sister. Amal went to Dr Challoner High School (a girls' grammar school located situated in Little Chalfont Buckinghamshire) before she enrolled in University. She then attended St Hugh's College at Oxford and, among others she received the Shrigley Award and an exhibition grant. The year 2000 was the year she graduated from St. Hugh's College in Oxford, with a bachelor of Arts degree (BA) in Jurisprudence.
